CultureALL is way more than "Nice"
CultureALL has been researching, testing, and improving methods for Iowans to expand their capacity to accept and adapt to differences for more than 15 years.
Our methods may seem simple and simply "nice to have," but our process is researched-based and proven to be effective. We are engaging Iowans; sparking a curiosity so they want to know more about their neighbors and the world around them. Diversity training can be a huge turn-off. But when Iowans PARTICIPATE in cultural traditions, they begin to APPRECIATE the diversity around them, and those experiences ELEVATE attitudes and behaviors in ways that benefit us all.
We are working on our promises to you
CultureALL is expanding programs and services because we care deeply about Iowans and Iowa’s role in a multicultural, global society. We are working to:
Create a culturally adaptive workforce
Iowa needs a pipeline of workforce talent that skillfully navigates the complex, ever-changing, multicultural economy. Working with Iowans of all ages - from youth to adult and into retirement – CultureALL uses methods that are grounded in research and are known to change attitudes and behaviors.
Amplify efforts to be inclusive
School leaders want CultureALL to reinforce positive messages in the community about diversity. The goal is to overcome conflicting, divisive rhetoric outside the classroom. To do this, we focus on sharing cultures with small- and medium-size employers and nonprofits, many of which have limited budgets. We also combine efforts, rather than competing. Our common goal is to dramatically improve the quality and results of diversity and inclusion work in the state.
Boost feelings of belonging here
CultureALL Ambassadors are role models. They equip children as well as adults with genuine curiosity. They make it fun to bring people together from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to talk, listen, learn, and collaborate. The Ambassadors inspire generations of people who look like them but have felt marginalized. They provide evidence that diversity shouldn’t divide us – it makes us stronger.
